Maestro Magnifico is a small-scale production that takes its inspiration from a short animated film by Walt Disney about two virtuoso Italian street musicians. When Maestro Magnifico takes his position on stage - wearing a Commedia dell’Artecostume and carrying a very big and mysterious chest - a hilarious and inviting musical scene unfolds. The music is based on a simple, catchy little snippet of a melody, that is presented bit by bit and that children can play along with on the instruments in the big magical chest.
