A biographical film about Beatle John Lennon's childhood. He grew up under the care of his stoic aunt Mimi because his mother suffered from manic depression. Lennon was creative, but a troublemaker too - he was searching for something, just as so many teenagers do. Nowhere Boy is not about The Beatles. Instead it reveals where John Lennon, the driven musician, got his inspiration. His troubled childhood lumbered him with fears and obsessions that would hound him throughout his life.
