Groupe F is probably the most widely acclaimed collective of pyrotechnic artists in the world today. They specialise in the invention of fireworks spectacles in which their tremendous technical know-how and artistic flair are used to their best advantage. The colours, rhythms, sense of drama, intensity and originality must all be combined exactly the right way. Groupe F has created major pyrotechnic displays for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Athens and Turin, at the World’s Fair in Lisbon, at the opening ceremony of Istanbul as European Cultural Capital, the millennium celebrations in which the Eiffel Tower was used as a pyrotechnics object and - at the beginning of this year to celebrate the opening of the Burj Khalifa - the world’s highest tower (828 metres) in Dubai.
