Of what is and what might have been… To celebrate the John Cage exhibition, schunck*, in collaboration with Cultura Nova, has put together a special programme for the beginning and the end of the exhibition, in which John Cage plays the lead. Cage strived to push back the boundaries of what was acceptable. This formed the cornerstone of a philosophical exploration of an aesthetic free from conventions, taste and traditional ways of looking at subjectivity. Artists will present their interpretations of John Cage’s oeuvre in a series of concerts, installations, lectures and performances.
