True to tradition, Theater Lexor opens the cultural season with the acclaimed Lexor Buitenmarkt. This year’s edition will once again feature performances on two stages: an outdoor stage on Willemstraat and one inside in the theatre.
This year’s outdoor performances will feature the young group Whale Rider, BeeBee Freeman, the Mondays, UNA MAS, de Knaltaler, Uppervillage, Paul Logister and Ralph Winkler. This year’s market will conclude with a swinging performance by Maytree Rythm & Blues Band on the Willemstraat stage.
Inside the theatre you can listen to vocalist Linda Zijlmans from Venlo, Prosper Henssen and the Nicole Bolton and John Jeninga Duo.
In addition, Rob Crijns will present his first collection of poems and a retrospective exhibition of the work of Heerlen’s own Sjon Mobers, to be held in the Lexor Gallery. Amber-Helena Reisig will be reading from her own work.
