Everyone has heard the tale of the brave knights and lonely ladies of the Round Table. Clarions resound from the castle of KAMMELOT. Within its walls, King Arthur and his loyal knight Lancelot fight for the hand of Guinevère, who is ‘as lovely as the morning dew’ with a voice that sounds as sweet as the blackbird’s song. But who was telling the truth? Did Guinevère wait all alone while the knights went off to the crusades? Were the knights really that brave? How loyal was Lancelot? And, more importantly...was the table really round? A fiery production with plenty of rusty armour, shiny swords, flowing manes and fire-breathing dragons.
Theater FROEFROE makes theatrical productions for children, teens and adults in a cross-over form that use dolls, figures, objects, video, actors and live music, impressions and illusions. They bring their ideas to life with humour, horror, poetry and rock and roll. KAMMELOT was created by Gert Dupont and his sparring partner Martine De Kok: a duo that makes sparks fly in castles and inside suits of armour and the skulls of fire-spitting dragons. Their common quest is to conquer major medieval challenges. Their mission is to save damsels in distress; the result is superb entertainment!
