Theater K created a very special cross-over production in honour of the 75th birthday of Sarah Kirsch, who is without a doubt one of Germany’s most celebrated contemporary poets.Words, acting, music, images and sound all come together spectacularly in this performance.This light-hearted and whimsical approach to the works of Kirsch, who incorporated myths, fairy tales, the present and the past into her prose, introduces her work in a highly personal way.Poetical texts are interspersed with images, musical prose, poems and compositions.A performance pur sang.
