A short, hilarious and absurdist triptych

BOOT (BOAT) is Vincent de Rooij’s latest production. This brief production lasts only 9 minutes and takes place in half an aircraft - an Antonov2. The nose and the wings are missing, but the rest is in good condition. This is a hilarious, absurdist triptych with spectacular happenings and unexpected turns of events. It is an expressive production about extremities, about high and low, hope and fear, illusions and the delusion of religion. Whose God will determine your fate? 

Vincent de Rooij performed at the Cultura Nova festival previously with Vlucht (Flight) and last year with the StreetLife1 project. What is different this year is that he does not use video projection. The emphasis is on acting, spectacular set changes and optical illusions.
