All that is good seems to come quickly and last a lifetime. The same is true for the follow-up to Esther Groenenberg’s 2010 debut album Slingers en Ballonnen (Streamers and Balloons), to be released this autumn. Groenenberg's songs are fresh and relatable, entertaining and cheerful but sometimes also surprisingly touching and sensitive. She walks the precarious line between pop and cabaret culture like no other performer. In Heerlen she will share the stage with four fantastic musicians who, along with Esther’s bright, clear vocals and energetic stage presence, will ensure the public can do little else than get lost in her humorous, musical world.
