Fra Fra Big Band

Thanks to their unique sound, the Amsterdam jazz band Fra Fra Big Band is in high demand both here and overseas. Since the band’s establishment in 1998, the seven master musicians, who still play in their original line-up, have graced the stage in more than 50 countries. They are loved and admired for their energetic jazz in the broadest sense of the word, with global influences from North American jazz and funk, Surinamese kawina, winti and African rhythms.
