La Boutique Fantastique
 

La Boutique Fantastique is a musical collective led by Rotterdam-based producers Tijmen Bergman and Maurits Goossens. Their music has been described as 'what David Lynch would do with his grandmother's record collection.’ Every performance is like the soundtrack to a journey through the colourful history of music. Their epic debut album La Boutique Fantastique offers melancholic and mysterious melodies inspired by classical music, Klezmer, triphop, circus music and French chansons. Their concerts are just as varied and lively as their album: a true homage to 'la musica' with every possible instrument, from the violin to the cello, with contemporary samples and turntables, and with melodica and concertina that take turns playing leading and supporting roles.
