Raaf, geen kip
From the successful TV show Huisje Boompje Beestje (A home with a white picket fence) from Teleac SchoolITV:
Each week, 89% of Dutch primary school students from years 3 and 4 watch Huisje Boompje Beestje to see Raaf (Raven) and his many adventures. Now, for the first time, Raaf can also be seen onstage. Or to put it a better way: in this wonderful play, Raaf is born the only white hatchling in an all-black raven nest. He soon discovers that he is very special, but also that he's not the only special animal in the woods. He makes friends with the super-fast Jet Kingfisher and Billy Beaver who is really good at construction. But what is Raaf good at? He's clumsy, can only fly a little and because he's white, everyone calls him 'chicken'. Raaf wants to prove that he's smart and brave. He's not a chicken! When the noisy Tree Stomper makes the forest unsafe, Raaf decides to catch him. With his friends Billy and Jet, he builds a huge 'Tree Stomper trap', but everything goes wrong – until Raaf discovers he too has a talent.
