Hoge Fronten / Lieke Benders

No matter how lonely the road may seem, there is always someone who has walked it before you.
 

You are given a special key, a survival package and a pat on the back. You are asked to avoid the beaten path. As of now you are in no man’s land.
 

TODOS is a visual walk for one; an individual experience of the search for a collective undertaking. TODOS uses composed images, instructions and messages to lead you on a five kilometre walk along a path full of secrets and put you into contact with your predecessors. Not literally, of course, but through the messages and thoughts left behind in ten small huts. Knowing that you are walking a road someone else has already travelled can have a very calming effect.
 

Lieke Benders drew her inspiration for TODOS from the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella. TODOS is the first production by Hoge Fronten, theatre creator Lieke Benders' young organisation. Hoge Fronten develops and produces broadly accessible theatre for families and creates visual site-specific theatre.
 

The TODOS route starts at the Koffiehuuske in Benzenrade where every hour, eight walkers can depart one by one. Please note! Make sure to wear proper rain gear and clothing as well as appropriate shoes for this walk. The walk takes approximately two hours.
