In DE BUNKER, Collectief Op Blote Voeten sets out to find an answer to the age-old question: what is freedom? Accompanied by a live, all-encompassing musical score, you’ll be swept away on a physical and visual journey.
In TRANS-, Just van Bommel and Emma van den Elshout create a dance party rich in content, featuring live-mixed music, sharp, poignant lyrics and dry humour. An energetic performance that both stimulates and connects.

A visual and physical quest for freedom of mind.
A ceiling that slowly descends, a beat that keeps driving on and a space that feels ever smaller. In DE BUNKER, Collectief Op Blote Voeten sets out to find an answer to the eternal question: what exactly is freedom? Accompanied by a live, all-encompassing musical score, you are drawn into a physical and visual experience. You follow two men who flee, fight, deny and ultimately have no choice but to face the hopelessness of the irreversible.
Collectief Op Blote Voeten is a performance and theatre collective with roots in Limburg that creates productions from an artistic and social perspective. Their productions are raw, immersive and visually striking.

TRANS-
A theatrical DJ set about how everyone is always in a state of transition.
In 30 minutes, Just van Bommel and Emma van den Elshout build up a dance party packed with substance, featuring live-mixed music, sharp, penetrating lyrics and dry humour. A performance which, just like ourselves, is in a state of constant transition and changes with the day (and night) and with the audience.
Just and Emma celebrate change with songs about why it’s always the case that at parties, people (men) are standing up against the wall. About how you don’t want to get into yet another discussion about gender at every family gathering, because you’re not entirely sure about it all yourself (yet). And about how a skirt is actually just a pair of trousers, but with one opening for two legs instead of two. Don’t expect answers, but do expect a wonderfully ‘bouncy’ 30 minutes in which everything is constantly in motion.
De Volkskrant praises the “sharp and at times witty” lyrics and writes that TRANS- lays bare the pain points of being queer, whilst NRC awards the show no fewer than ★★★★.
