Imagine is a compilation of four short films from around the world, in which children use their imagination to better understand the world and make it a little bit better. In *SNOR* , an 8-year-old girl of Hindustani descent loses her self-confidence after a nasty remark from a bully. In *This Is Your Captain Speaking*, 10-year-old Asare wants to adopt his music teacher to prevent him from being deported. *Ditto and Monty* is a funny animation about a game of cat and moth with a super-soft cushion as the prize. And *SLAY, FEE* is about a magical ‘gas fairy’ who enchants with glitter and glamour.
In collaboration with Filmhuis de Spiegel, Cultura Nova is presenting five arthouse family films on the Festival Square. Bring along some snacks and your own picnic blanket, or settle down in one of the deckchairs on the square. The films are free to watch and suitable for children of various ages.
