Why the Eye is an experimental, masked musical quartet from Brussels, known for their homemade instruments and their unique genre, which they themselves call prehistoric techno. In 2024, with their latest album *Inspirex*, they embarked on a challenging journey through an experimental, chaotic, raw and rhythmic musical landscape. The album explores the boundaries of sound with unconventional structures and layered soundscapes. You’ll be transported to a world where traditional melodies give way to rich textures and auditory collages. Good to know: all the instruments Why The Eye play live are DIY and are played in real time, without loops or sequencers. Since its formation, the band has been particularly at home on underground and experimental stages across Europe. Here in the Netherlands, they are increasingly making their mark, sending audiences into a trance.
